Last year, we launched a brand-new initiative to recognise and celebrate our dealer network with an annual awards ceremony. The Extra Mile Awards are a chance for us shine a spotlight on our dealerships who are going above and beyond, it's not about volumes or cases; this is for dealers who provide that excellent experience in the customer journey, consider the wider community and are forward thinking in their approach to business. The awards allow us to shout from the rooftops of the great work our dealer partners are doing and share their success with those at the heart of both of our businesses, our customers.

This year, we’re back with even more awards to celebrate our dealerships!

How it works

Over three nomination periods, our Account Managers in the North, South and Major Accounts Division will nominate their bike, car and van dealerships they think should be recognised. We’ll select one winner in each bespoke category; Customer Journey Award, Community Impact Award, Partnership Award, Diversity & Inclusion Award, Sustainability Award and Leadership Award.

In the last nomination period, one winner will also be chosen for the Annual Broker Partner Award and Account Manager of the Year!

The winners will receive a special awards pack and an invitation to our Dealer of the Year Awards evening, along with recognition on our websites and social channels. They can also add the Extra Mile Awards logo to their own website, social channels and findandfund listings to promote their win to customers.

The categories:

Customer Journey Award

A dealer who has an excellent online and in-store journey and strong customer engagement from enquiry through to aftercare.

Customers are at the heart of what we do, and that’s true for our dealers too. In this category, we’re looking at dealerships who provide an outstanding customer service in an innovative and unique way. Those that exceptionally deliver Consumer Duty principles and truly embody ‘treating customers fairly’.

Community Impact Award

A dealer who makes a difference in the community they’re a part of.

Celebrating our dealerships who have a positive impact in their wider community, encourage charitable initiatives, volunteering and fundraising.

Partnership Award

A dealer who has embraced and evidenced alignment to MotoNovo values.

We work with trusted dealer partners around the UK and have a careful selection process to ensure we’re working with the best of the best. This award helps to recognise those dealers who come out in front by fully supporting MotoNovo products, launches and initiatives to drive performance and improve the customer journey.

Diversity and Inclusion Award

A dealer who has promoted the representation of different groups of individuals.

By that, we mean supporting values of equality, diversity and inclusion. Dealerships who have an open and welcoming culture for all members of society, from supporting the career development of their teams to actively encouraging diversity.

Sustainability Award

A dealer who demonstrates sustainability and forward thinking.

Dealers who not only embrace sustainability, but have gone as far as introducing an eco-friendly service/product, actively promote environmental responsibility and takes the time to train their teams to model socially responsible practices.

Leadership Award

An individual or team who have demonstrated exceptional leadership.

We pride ourselves on working with reputable dealerships, and behind every successful dealership is a strong team. We’re recognising those who have managed a team through a challenging situation, provided innovative solutions to enable business growth and who always put the wellbeing of their team and customers at the core of their business.

Annual Broker Partner Award

A broker who evidences that they have the customer at the heart of their operation.

Recognising brokers who provide an excellent customer journey from online to instore, aligns with Consumer Duty principles and embraces treating customers fairly. Those who also use innovation to meet the needs of both dealers and customers.

This year, we’re not only celebrating our dealerships, but are also letting them decide their Account Manager of the Year! Our Account Managers span the UK and are dedicated to supporting our dealer partners. Whether it’s keeping dealers up to date with the latest regulatory updates, introducing our newest products and initiatives or just being a friendly voice at the other end of the phone, we’re celebrating the best of the best.
