With MotoNovo’s annual Extra Mile Awards just a matter of weeks away, the lender is advising affiliated dealers that that there’s still time to sign up to what MotoNovo says is going to be a bumper awards year. Alongside the awards, there will also be a dynamic new showcase and conference experience during the day.
Guests will explore key industry trends, gain valuable insights, connect with fellow professionals, and celebrate the exceptional achievements of dealer excellence from across the country.
“As always, we'll be recognising the incredible initiatives driven in the motor community by our dealer and broker partners,” says Debbie McKay, Distribution Director at MotoNovo. “Our showcase and thought leadership conference offers a fresh experience this year, designed to help our partners thrive with new perspectives, inspiring keynote speakers, and a look ahead at the trends shaping 2026.”
The Extra Mile Awards will take place on Wednesday 8th October at the Radisson Blu Hotel, East Midlands, and feature a number of guests and keynote speakers.
During the thought leadership conference attendees will hear from AutoTrader’s Nick Press, who’ll present an EV and market update as well as a networking session. There will also be a conference session with Stephen Whitton, Founder of MENable, an expert in mental health in the motor industry.
In the evening, former rally champion and renowned motivational speaker Penny Mallory will give the keynote speech. From experiencing homelessness as a teenager to becoming the first woman to compete in a world rally car for Ford in the World Rally Championship, Mallory will provide unique insight and into the art of resilience at a time when the motor finance industry has faced a turbulent year.
“2025 has been uniquely challenging for everyone involved in the industry,” MotoNovo’s McKay adds. “The Extra Mile Awards is about recognising excellence amongst the dealer and broker community. We’re excited to reward and support our partners by promoting inspiring work, outside of car sales, that supports communities, embraces the environment and challenges gender and equity barriers."
This year there are seven individual awards up for grabs: Dealer Partnership of the Year; Customer Journey; Community Impact; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Sustainability; Innovation; and finally, Broker Partner of the Year.
